Both recipes sound amazing and yes- the berry picking is a task in patience. I have been living off them up north. Really makes you appreciate what you'll pay at the market though!

Hi Marisa, Dips ( Bean dips) and Mustard are very much used in my life. They make great additions to spelt sandwiches, veggie burgers and sprouted wraps!
Thanks for posting all of your recipes! I am sure some of my dairy-loving vegetarian readers will love them!

Oops, you asked for our tips on vegetarian summer dishes! Here are my favourites for any potluck or BBQ:

Nacho dip: baked chips dipped into a creamy concoction of sour cream or cream cheese topped with salsa, cheddar cheese, lettuce, black olives and green onions. (http://healthyveggie.wordpress.com/2010/02/20/nacho-dip-recipe-supreme-it-or-basic-both-yummy/)

Couscous you can't get enough of: couscous stirred with chopped pepper, tomato, cucumber, green onions and flavoured with olive oil and a hint of lemon. (http://healthyveggie.wordpress.com/2010/06/23/couscousquinoa-recipe-i-promise-it-tastes-so-good-every-time/)

Guacamole: a simple recipe to make the most of avocados. (http://healthyveggie.wordpress.com/2010/02/02/guacamole-recipe/)

Those dips look sooooo good. I'm always writing on my blog (see link) about how much I love salsa and Mexican-type foods. Dips and sauces are my favourite. In fact, the things I missed most when I became vegetarian were: mustard, since I had no hot dogs; BBQ sauce, as I no longer ate chicken nuggets; mayonnaise, since I no longer consumed chicken salad. I've found ways to get all three now!

It's not the most flattering picture, but it works! Manuka is amazing, but adding strawberries...is a must! Your skin feels amazing afterwards!

I love the photo of you with the mask on :)

I used to put honey on my face for a half hour or so before bed every night, but I never added strawberries. Something new to try!
